Posting Date 04/25/2023 Closing Date Position Purpose This position is responsible for creating an excellent experience for anyone using UCM facilities by overseeing all responsibilities for Audio-visual equipment as well as assisting Meeting and Conference Services staff with any tasks related to hosting events on campus.
Primary responsibilities include oSetup, operation, and takedown of Audio-Visual equipment on campus oOrganization, maintenance, installation, and minor repair of equipment oCustomer service, unlocking doors, assisting Campus Event Managers oWritten shift reports In your Cover Letter please provide examples of the following:
oExperience operating an audio console to mix 2 or more microphones oExperience assisting with the equipment in a typical classroom on campus oAny additional audio-visual related experience not otherwise mentioned in your application Preference is given to students who are Music Technology, Digital Media Productions, or Theater Technology majors having completed the Sound Reinforcement course.
Work Study preferred but not required WEEKENDS AND SUMMER REQUIRED 80% of shifts are scheduled with 2 weeks or more notice 20% of shifts are scheduled with 0-14 days notice.
