Bargaining Unit No Work Location Warrensburg Campus Posting Date 05/01/2023 Closing Date Open Until Filled Yes Position Purpose The role of Foundation Database Coordinator works under the direction of the Director of Foundation Database and Research and is responsible for managing accuracy and data integrity of information stored in all Alumni Foundation systems.
Through collaboration with campus partners to acquire, integrate, and share information housed in different systems, the Foundation Database Coordinator coordinates both data input and extraction; and is ultimately responsible for organizing data entry activities that inform Foundation staff of opportunities to engage with alumni and friends of UCM.
The Foundation Database Coordinator supervises and directs a team of student employees to complete necessary work.
This position must provide exceptional customer service with both internal and external audiences focusing on creating a donor-centered culture.
Education & Formal Training Other Education & Formal Training Bachelor's degree in the following field(s) of study:
Computer Science, Database Management, Computer Information Systems or related field.
Education may be substituted for experience or experience may be substituted for education based on the following equivalencies:
AA or 60 credit hours = 2 years experience; BA/BS or 120 credit hours = 4 years experience; MA/MS = 6 years experience; PhD = 8 years experience.
Computer Skills Word-Processing, Spreadsheet, Other - Internet and other research tools knowledge strongly preferred.
Experience Two (2) years of experience in working with databases, including data entry, integrity, security, and/ or lower-level programming required.
Experience in multi-user relational database management systems required.
Proficiency with Virtuous software platform strongly preferred.
Data analytics experience preferred.
